More Exhibitors Committing to SMI’s Metal Engineering eXpo 2017

Oak Brook, IL.; March 17, 2017 — SMI’s Metal Engineering eXpo  (MEE) returns after a successful launch in 2015 to Hartford’s Connecticut Convention Center, October 3–5. 2017’s event has already secured leading OEMs, spring manufacturers, distributors, coiling, grinding, stamping, peening & wire forming companies to showcase the newest equipment and innovative technologies to key decision makers in the industry.

With exhibit sales almost 10% ahead of 2015’s kick-off year and the 2017 MEE’s eXpo floor being more than 50% sold already, Spring Manufacturers Institute is slated to produce the industry’s largest most focused event of the year. Registration, set to open next month, is predicted to track at the same pace. With returning and new exhibit companies purchasing more space on average, engagement between buyers and sellers align perfectly.

This year’s Technical Symposium, a key draw to the event, is built around 5 tracks: Business Environment, Business Practices, Culture, Leadership & Motivation, Manufacturing, Materials & Testing, and Technology. Speaker selection from the industry’s thought-leadership is complete and will be posted on MEE’s website when registration opens.

The show’s location, one of the metal engineering’s hubs, means companies will send teams to MEE to shop the event and these teams will have buying power. In 2015, almost seven out of 10 attendees had significant or final buying authority, giving exhibitors the chance to meet key decision makers and gain quality leads.

Space is selling fast. To view an up-to-date floor plan and submit an application to exhibit, visit SMI’s MEE.
